Between entrances 14/15 Fröhlich identified a painting of Mercury and Minerva which is now destroyed.
See Fröhlich, T., 1991, Lararien und Fassadenbilder in den Vesuvstädten. Mainz: von Zabern. (F62: p.331).
Della Corte said the painting of Mercury and Minerva found on the doorpost to the right of the entrance was to bring good fortune to the unknown man of commerce working from here.
A seal or stamp found here suggested he was C. Cat(ius) Scith(us).
